The symptoms of sleep apnea are more common in men over forty who are overweight but can occur at any time, for both men and women are now being seen increasingly in children.

Most obvious symptom of sleep apnea is snoring which is difficult to detect it same and usually has to be brought to its attention by the couple to sleep. However, there are many reasons for snoring and the mere fact that you snore does not itself means that you are suffering from sleep apnea. However, most patients with sleep apnea do not snore.

The second most obvious symptom Sleep apnea is excessive daytime tiredness. People with sleep apnea stop breathing frequentlyduring sleep and the body's natural reaction is sufficient to wake for you to start breathing again, but not enough for you to be aware of the fact that he is being awakened.
