Can sleep apnea improve overtime with the machinery of the mask (CPAP)?
Can the mask eventually open up overtime airway without using anymore? I feel a little bit better and sometimes I feel like i dont have to use it.
In general, no. It simply supports the air and no change in any way. But then I know nothing about you or your type of sleep apnea so I can only assume that most of patients improve with CPAP treatment, but always needed. If they were extremely obese and lost weight sleep apnea can improve, but probably not otherwise. It would be best to ask your pulmonologist about it.
