Do I qualify for Social Security benefits if I have CHF / diabetes / SLEEP APNEA / Heart Disease?
CHF is the failure congestive heart .. I actually looking for and Medicare benefits, and how to apply .. not necessarily cash benefits, have a good job, but my supplies Doctors are really getting to face.
You only qualify for Social Security benefits if you are incapacitated to the point where they can not work. This means … NEVER expect to work again … that your disability is bad enough that they can not perform activities that are expected to do at work. I'll tell right hand, if you only have sleep apnea, which is not enough for the disabled, nor is the heart disease. However, if you have diabetes, and is quite bad you can not work due to side effects, then yes, you can get disability. Do not expect to get the file and then a month later, provided that turn for the first time. sometimes denied the second and third time … basically because they want to make sure that they will fight for the benefits you deserve. If denied, I would suggest getting a lawyer, especially if you have a backup doctor that you are disabled enough to receive benefits.

sleep apnea heart disease
Metabolic syndrome, also known as syndrome of insulin resistance may be the surest path to a heart attack. It is so powerful predictor of coronary heart disease is high cholesterol or LDL, which is also known as the "bad cholesterol".
A constellation of problems develop when people become less and less sensitive to its own insulin … This was identified by a physician and researcher at the School of Medicine, Stanford University, Dr. Gerald Reaven. When your body becomes more and more insensitive to insulin that is proper, more and more compensation. High levels of blood insulin or hyperinsulinemia, puts your body in an abnormal metabolic condition, which is known as metabolic syndrome.
Signs of metabolic syndrome include:
- central (or abdominal) obesity
- high blood pressure
- high triglycerides
- Elevated LDL, often called "bad cholesterol". The higher your LDL level is likely that excess cholesterol is deposited in the lining walls of the arteries
- low levels of HDL, or good cholesterol "is just the opposite effect. It removes cholesterol from artery walls
- increased blood clotting
- polycystic ovary syndrome in women
- sleep apnea
- reflux
- one of very high risk of developing heart disease and type 2 diabetes
The International Diabetes Federation Group has recommended a practical definition to be used worldwide. The metabolic syndrome has been defined as central obesity, which is believed to be the main factor in the development of this syndrome, in addition of two of any of the following:
- high triglycerides
- Low HDL
- Pre-diabetes
- diabetes Type 2
- or high blood pressure
Most people with type 2 diabetes have metabolic syndrome. Therefore, like diabetes Type 2 aims to control blood sugar levels in the blood. But to prevent diabetic vascular complications including:
- heart disease
- stroke, or
- Peripheral vascular disease
you also need achieve:
- normal levels of cholesterol
- normal blood pressure
What can be done?
The formula for long term weight loss is simple: eat less and move more. A healthy eating plan is essential for the treatment of type 2 diabetes … is a question of balance. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables above ground, a moderate amount of low GI carbohydrates and protein, and limited amounts of fat. Your eating plan should be reduced in calories, if necessary, but also balanced to meet nutritional needs and have into account what is necessary to lower cholesterol and blood sugar.
The closer you get to your ideal weight the better … insulin resistance lies at the center of the metabolic syndrome and gets worse as you put on more weight. In the United States, statistics estimate 451,000 people die of heart disease. This disease refers to the absence of the coronary circulation, which is insufficient in the circulation and blood flow to the heart and surrounding muscles. Cardiomyopathy references to the deterioration of the muscles in the heart region. Patients suffering from cardiomyopathy are at higher risk for arrhythmia and sudden death from heart failure. Cardiovascular diseases include problems such such as atherosclerosis, which affects blood vessels through the accumulation of plaque and fatty deposits. Congestive heart failure is another serious problem, if the body can not adequately pump enough blood to the body. Finally, inflammatory diseases cause swelling of the tissues in and around cardiac muscle.
Effects on heart
The U.S. Surgeon General has called this the "leading preventable cause of illness and death in the United States. When smokers start smoking in active smokers some consider the long-term effects of their actions and the effects of smoking: reactions such such as heart disease and lung disease, high blood pressure and lower levels of exercise tolerance and, among other symptoms in cigarette consumption, the tendency of blood clotting more readily. May even be a question of belief, or simply a lack of belief that something as terrible as the link between smoking and cardiovascular disease could not happen to them. This fatalistic attitude seems to be common among smokers and it is only when the realization takes hold that really could happen to these same smokers willing to quit.

Other symptoms of sleep apnea may include headaches, inability to concentrate on everyday activities, exhaustion, irritability, etc
